Two years ago, I started cycling with an idea for a photographic project in my mind. Before I started the project, I wanted to know their world intimately. So in the span of one year, I completed double SR.
SR or Super Randonneur is a title earned by any cyclist who completes a series of brevets (200KM in 13.5Hrs, 300KM in 20Hrs, 400KM in 27Hrs & 600KM in 40Hrs) all in the same year. I realised that Brevets or BRM are an addiction. 40 Hrs on a cycle not only teaches you many life lessons, it adds unforgettable memories in your life & many interesting stories to share… Here is an old post about the first 5 months I spent cycling: bit.ly/sr-usp
Now, two years since the time I cycled manically, I have finally started my photographic project, the same one for which I cycled day & night, every day including on weekends, lost almost 13 KGs and covered almost 23000KMs in a span of one year.
Happy to meet a few cyclists again with who I rode on many BRMs and spent many days & nights on the road with. Waiting to make many new friends, listen to their stories & tell those to the world through my photographic project… Feeling excited again to work on something new… |
